{A Big, Bright Thank You}

I've been meaning to update my blogroll for far, far too long so, last night (before heading off to the cinema and a huge bag of Crispy M&Ms) I knuckled down and sorted it out. I've split it out into five sections: Decor, Fabulous, Fashion, Foodie and Weddings. Fabulous is a collection of blogs that don't have too much of a set theme. Rather, these blogs are freaking amazing because of their varied and mixed content; from photography to craft and everything in between these blogs are, quite frankly, fabulous to me. So, that's why some of you lovely dudes and dudettes live there!

I guess now would be a fun time to link up to some of you guys who are new to my blogroll. I wrote about some of my favourites in an old series called, Blog Love, so here are some of the new additions to the ol' roll...

The clever, the stylish, the delicious...Jason wraps it up perfectly in this strap line. A wonderfully personal and intelligent blog is this one. You know when you feel like the words on a blog teach you things, open your eyes to things, give you a new perspective on things, but all the while make you laugh, too? Yeah, this is one of those goodun's.

If you enjoy my monthly reviews of Country Homes and Interiors magazine, then be sure to head over and have a peek at Rhoda's lovely blog. It details her 'double life' - country life at home in Sussex (by the sea - swoon) and working in the City as Editor of Country Homes and Interiors. From craft ideas to garden inspiration there's lots to inspire.

Eva who runs a paper goods company and blogs about anything and everything that inspires her. I especially enjoy her posts on New York building facades and eats. Plus, she's a contributor to the oh so great poppytalk blog.

If you are ever after some photography to loose yourself in for an hour or so, then I'd say hop on over to Bonnie's blog. Whilst it's primarily a blog of her own photography, there are occasional posts with neat finds, like these vintage circus posters - fun!

Out of all of the decor blogs I read, Leah's is one of the most personal. She flings the virtual doors of her home open and invites you in to see all her colourful tablescapes, birthday treats and her entryway makeover.

I'm sure most have you already read Helena's fun and varied blog, but I felt like sharing what I love about it. To me, it's her light, breezy and upbeat posting style that attracts. She's recently started a series called Monday Outfit, which is fun to see and her My Stuff series rocks!

Specs Appeal is a prime example of the blogs that sit in the fabulous section of the blogroll because each post is different, so it's exciting to see what Tommy will write about next. My favourite series of Tommy's blog are his Always Lists - basically products, brands, clothes that he loves and why.

I hope I've not missed anyone off the new roll - if I have please shoot me an email as I'd hate for you not to be on there. Thanks everyone for reading and making me feel so welcome over at your own blogs. Have a lovely Wednesday! Will x

{Blog Love: Elements of Style}

Normally for my Blog Love posts I group together a whole bunch of scrummy stuff that has inspired me from the wonderful blog in question. But, this week it's all about Erin Gates, fabulous author of Elements of Style, and her quite simply A-mazing bedroom makeover, which I know will be more than enough to convince that this is a seriously hot blog. Thanks for all the great inspiration, Erin!

{Blog Love: A Perfect Gray}

I wouldn't be surprised if you are already checking in with this blog, because it's pretty damn awesome. Besides the fact that grey is the neutral of the moment, A Perfect Gray always inspires me on intriguing and stylish ways to decorate with this sophisticated shade. Many colours compliment dulcet grey hues - from purple right through to yellow, so it makes for a versatile scheme allowing you to add accents or key seasonal colours as you wish. A Perfect Gray is summed up as: 'Life's Four Phenomenal Goodnesses: antiques, decor, art and style - and one girl's search for the perfect grey wall colour'. Well, this is one search I love being a part of.

{Blog Love: A Punch of Color}

You guys know I adore colour, so it's super exciting whenever I come across a blog dedicated to it. A Punch of Color is one of those blogs that inspires you in an instant; with it's short posts and say's-what-everyone's-thinking commentary, you won't be disappointed to include this in your daily read. My favourite feature on Shelia's blog are her weekly 'Mondays could be so much easier if...' posts. Each week Shelia posts one image that would make her Monday easier - fun, simple and always so true! Check out these visual treats from her recent posts. That yellow and blue (2) is a seriously hot combo and I would have loved to have been at that pool party (5).

Please head over and check our Shelia's blog, I'm sure it will bring you as much joy as it does me.

{Blog Love: 7 Year Wedding}

Perhaps it's the romantic in me, or maybe it's just because this lady knows some serious style when she sees it. Either way, 7 Year Wedding is one fantastic blog. From swoonful weddings to breathtaking interiors, each post is pure escapism all wrapped up into one super stylish package. Here are my inspirations...

Who wouldn't want to dine at these tables? Bright blooms, fresh fruit table decorations and beautiful glassware, all mixed in with glittering candles and twinkling overhead lamps. For me, this is utter bliss.

If I was going to have cocktails on the beach then this is where I would do it. The simple mix of white, grey and yellow works wonders against the real star of this place - the stunning location.

Ok, so it's not interiors, but I do love my fashion. Those shoes and those stripey socks are me all over! Love them.

{Blog Love: Purple Area}

I've only been following the Purple Area blog for a few months, but what an inspirational few months they have been! As usual I've picked out what has inspired me most from this lovely blog; I especially enjoy the images and reviews of various interiors stores and colourful floristry. With an eclectic mix of whimsical shop window displays, simple yet chic home tours and plenty of inspiring photography, there is always something to inspire.

Images are mainly by Purple Area's author. If you see an image that's yours and know the credit, please let me know so that I can add it. Thank you!

{Blog Love: Table Tonic}

I was sold as soon as I read that Louise from the fantastic Table Tonic was a magazine addict. Right there and then I knew I would love her blog. I'm glad I was so quick to fall for it because it's rammed to the rafters with inspiration and fantastic styling. After looking through the images on her blog that I found most inspiring, you won't be surprised to learn that Louise used to be the Creative Director of Cosmopolitan magazine. All that's left to say is: bookmark, bookmark, bookmark!

Racing Green + Deep Purple = My favourite new colour combo.

I like how the mural does the talking here - very effective.

Typographical accessories are always fun. Find these at Anthropologie.

The clashing patterns of the curtains and wallpaper was a gamble. A glamble that paid off with great results.

I'm still loving starburst mirrors. Add some orange into the mix and I'm sold. This room has a high-end look, yet retains an air of accessibility and comfort, which is an impressive feat.

I chose this image because of the pops of colour in the cushions. Find similar at Jonathan Adler.

A yellow veranda? Yes, please!

In the words of Carrie Bradshaw: "I've died and gone to real estate heaven!"

Simply stunning photography; you just can't beat the graphic beauty of the Brooklyn Bridge.

After yesterday's black inspiration post, this image called out to me straight away. I also really like the chandelier, don't you?
