Priyanka Choprawill be playing the role of a sex worker in Karan Johar’s remake of the1990 film, Agneepath opposite Hrithik Roshan.
Speaking to the Times of India, Karan said, “All I can say at themoment is that my Agneepath is radically different from the Agneepaththat my father has produced. We’ve completely done away with the SouthIndian character played by Mithun Chakraborty in the original. Myfather was very proud of Agneepath. I hope I don’t let him down withmine. Amitji (Amitbah Bachchan) had won the National Award for thefilm. It’s a tough act to follow for any actor.”
Apparently the original script had a major makeover to make it more appealing to today’s youth.
Priyanka’s character will be called Kaali.
