Three Inspirations: Art Wall, Graphic Paper & Wooden Beams

In the last few days these three images have really inspired me. As you might know I am currently creating an art wall for our dining area wall (I painted the wall navy blue in preparation last weekend), and this eclectic and colourful collection of art has certainly inspired some of the next steps. As for that graph wallpaper? I love it! Graphic, modern and stylish - plus, as it's not too strong it makes a great background for brighter colours and striking furniture; I like how it frames the four poster bed. Finally, this florist's space has these charming beams which have a cosy, rustic and romantic feel (the latter is possibly encouraged by the twinkling white lights adorning them, but still!). What's inspiring you today, friends?

Abigail Edwards' Cute Owl Wallpaper

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Only a brand spanking new wallpaper by Abigail Edwards. The owl design comes from the former Country Homes & Interiors Deputy Decorating Editor, and was inspired by her childhood years, which she spent surrounded by woodlands and wildlife. The design features a total of ten different owls, from the barn owl to the snowy owl, which one is your favourite?

{Interiors Inspiration: New Mini Moderns Wallpaper}

Remember my post on Mini Moderns last year? Well the fab team of two are back with a new collection of whimsical wallpapers. The music-inspired collection features wallpapers designed with a soft psychedelic edge, and there will soon be coordinating cushions and a brand new mug collection. As for the wallpapers; they are available to buy now and I'm seriously tempted by both the harvest orange colourway of Pet Sounds (2) and the sheek yet playful design of C60 (4). Perhaps I should save up for both?! Which of the designs are your favourites?

Red And Yellow Mums

Yellow Tubular Flowers

For the numerous time in a row I haven't a clue what type of flowers these are! They are yellow and seem to be tube shaped pedals. Very strange... Perhaps you know what they are?

Update: I now know that these plants are Zamfir Coreopsis!
